Responsibilities: Litter patrol, bathroom
clean-up, trash collection, sweep walkway, general facility
upkeep, security patrol
Equipment: Motorized boom, miscellaneous lawn care
equipment, portable radio
Hours:
2:00
p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Wednesday
through Sunday. Trained
back-up personnel will be available for holidays, vacations,
etc. City
will enhance full-time employee with assistance from the City's
dedicated downtown crew.

The
Columbus Police Department will enhance security of the trail
with assistance from their Auxiliary Force and Cope Bicycle
Patrol. In addition to the full-time patrol from 2:00 p.m.
until 10:00 p.m., this will provide an additional 2 patrols
per day.
Clean-Up
Sequence
The City of Columbus will provide clean-up crews to clean
and dispose of all flood sediment after each flooding occurance.
The City has all equipment necessary to adequately clean all
walkways, benches and pavilions. As the area occasionally
floods, 4 people will be necessary to accomplish the clean-up
in 3 simple steps.
- Heavy
material removed with rubber-tired backhoe/loader and disposed
of offsite.
- Walkway
will be swept with motorized broom.
- Walkways
will then be sprayed clean with a fire hose.
